![]() ![]() There are no tables in the foyer or outside on the hotel grounds. The only places open at that time were in the casino and you are not allowed into the casino if you are under 21 and if I had gone in and purchased stuff, there is no place outside the casino to eat. I had my 81 yr old father with me and my 18 yr old daughter. The issues I had with the place…we arrived mid afternoon and were starving. The mini bar and snacks available are very expensive. The bathroom was large and comfy bath robes available to use and plenty of amenities should you need them in the bathroom. An I-Pad was used to control the lights, curtains, and tv. We had the harbor view king room and it was beautiful. We had no problems at check in and the staff friendly and courteous. This is a beautiful hotel that screams Las Vegas the moment you walk through the door. I am excited to finally be able to visit a hotel/ casino so close to home that makes you want to go back.… Have had some pretty good luck here on the slots too! We ate at Rare steakhouse which yes is pricey but with excellent food and service. We came to play in the casino which is also clean, drink servers readily available, and security clearly visible. The grounds are meticulously maintained inside and out. Room service was a great breakfast served quickly, hot, and delicious, also served with a smile. You truly feel like a VIP here and are treated as such. The rooms are so spacious and modern with an iPad and Alexa to control the lighting, tv, drapery, room service and even check out. The staff are all very friendly and helpful from the valet, doormen, reception, bell hops, and housekeeping just to name a few. Love a day away and we can now do all of the things we enjoy close to home but also get away. It left a black stain on the trip and I don't know if we will return.…īack again to this beautiful hotel so close to home. ![]() We are a hispanic family and I could only guess that was the reason we were pulled aside. No one else was asked to show their cards other than him. My husband went up the elevator at a later time and he also felt hunted down to show his key card. No one else was stopped, not even the large, loud group of young men next to me. He then proceeded to watch me carefully while I used the card on the elevator. The employee went out if his way to chase me down and acted very impatient when it took me a while to dig out my card. I was stopped and asked to show my key card. Why I have given 4 stars instead of 5- My husband and I had unpleasant experiences at the elevator to our room. It did not have too many tables and I stuck with the slot machines. The casino was nice although I didn't end up a winner. The casino was large with 2 stories and plenty of options for eating. The highlight of our stay was the complimentary yacht taxi that took us to Quincy Market. My kids were disappointed but our waiter was extremely friendly. Our only option for dinner at that time was Night Shift Brewing and Tap across the way. The restaurant opened late and we were no longer able to enter with kids after 7 pm. My children, (11 and 13), were excited to eat at Mystique. ![]() I called for extra blankets and they were delivered in 10 minutes. Even the bathroom was stocked with many complimentary toiletries you normally don't see in hotels. The bed was comfortable and pillows soft. ![]() Alexa was attached to the lights and the drapes. The employee at the front desk had a kind smile and a positive attitude. I enjoyed the flamboyant decor throughout that seemed to have a Mardi Gras feel. My family and I stayed at the Encore about a month ago for 1 night.
